New Eden wind-up Season 2013

As part of its outreach, All Nations began a gardening ministry this year, where people are able to participate in monthly work bees. This ministry links the horticultural expertise of Ken Warren, husband of rector the Rev Shihoko Warren, and Japanese people’s heightened interest in the environment and growing food following the Fukushima nuclear disaster.

On October 5, 40 participants attended the Harvest Party where church members provided culinary creations using vegetables grown in the ministry’s garden and the Holy Spirit touched hearts through testimonies, worship, prayer, fellowship and music. Following Scriptural principles, the best of the produce was donated to a homeless shelter.
