2017 Mission Trip to Fukushima and Pilgrimage to Nagasaki

We are the first local church team from Vancouver to visit Fukushima!

Rev. Shihoko Warren of Church of All Nations and Soohwan Park of Global Learning Consortium are leading the first local church team to Fukushima, Japan since the triple disaster in March, 11, 2011. Our purpose is to discover what God is doing among the local churches in Fukushima and to listen to stories of people of Fukushima so that we may learn from a church on the journey of suffering, perseverance and living in Easter-Hope. We will also journey to Nagasaki to learn from the history of the sufferings of Japanese Christian ancestors who had sown the seeds of Gospel for all Japanese diaspora and others around the world.

What can you do? Everyone can participate!

  1. Sending. The Church of All Nations as the congregation is SENDING a part of its body. You are joining by sending.
  2. Prayer. Please pray for the team before, during, and after the trip. Soohwan will post stories on her blog (www.fearnotfukushima.blogspot.com). Go to her blog for our updates.
  3. Support. We would love to take your gift offerings to Fukushima. It is always a huge encouragement for the people of Fukushima to hear that Fukushima is not forgotten and that there are people overseas who remember and pray for them.
